That is, in fact, probably exactly what it is. Pardon me while I go find
someone and beat them about the ears for ever allowing mixed virtual
packages to get into a situation this broken. *sigh*

Fine. It looks ugly, but there's no other answer; the "Provides: zope"
of zope2.7 is more or less useless, so I'll simply add it as a forcible
alternative and hope that the Zope maintainer actually rolls it back into
the Zope package someday.
More and more packages going to package<version> packages. This is a bad
thing. Bah.
