With regards to naming -
Our collections, of which Debian is one of many, are available via http, ftp 
and rsync.  The {http,ftp,rsync}.gtlib.gatech.edu names are DNS round robins 
that point to multiple machines, all offering the three protocols.  How do you 
want to handle this?

I can conspire to populate the trace file with whatever data you want, but 
moving to the Debian ftpsync script is going to be trouble.  We have an 
in-house script of similar purpose that has been generalized across nearly 100 
upstream sources.  What should that trace file look like?
