Package: dict
Version: 1.10.2-3
Severity: normal
Trying the dict client with the dictl wrapper, I came across
a formatting issue:
the command `dict --server dict.org --database trans nice` resulted in a
long list of translations, including:
From English-Russian Freedict dictionary [eng-rus]:
nice [nais]
om English-Russian Freedict dictionary [eng-rus]:
nice
om English-Swedish Freedict dictionary [eng-swe]:
Apparently, the conversion from the non printable (in iso-latin-1) Russian
characters also took some of the following header (something like "\nF").
I use dictl "out of the box" (with no configuration on my side) on a rxvt
x-terminal emulator (and in xjed) with
Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1)
