Hi, the same here. Lirc is installed as a dependency. Because of spamming the partition overflows and the disks are not going to me to sleep mode. So I think the severity important isn't enough, serious is better for this bug. My suggestion would be to test for the requested devices at startup once and then use the device hotplug to load the driver and to activate lirc.
