Package: swish++ Severity: normal
Hello, I installed swish++ to fulfill a recommends for some other package (dhelp I believe). Lately I noticed my system becoming slower but didn't really investigate much. Today the OOM killer bothered me, so I did investigate - and found an index++ process which is consuming far more resources than appropriate: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 13927 root 18 0 158m 123m 560 R 1.0 52.6 2:19.54 index++ Needless to say, I've killed it and removed swish++. I wonder if anyone else has run into this problem, or what the cause might be? I only have a vague understanding of what the program is for, since like I said I installed it only because another package recommended it. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE= (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
