Package: gramps
Version: 2.0.9-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

Like previous reporters, I too get a segfault. My own seems to be
slightly different though

eve:[~]% pdb /usr/share/gramps/gramps.py
> <string>(1)?()
(Pdb) s
--Call--
> /usr/share/gramps/gramps.py(26)?()
-> import sys
[...]
-> import gramps_main
(Pdb)
zsh: segmentation fault  pdb /usr/share/gramps/gramps.py

eve:[~]% pdb /usr/share/gramps/gramps_main.py
> <string>(1)?()
(Pdb) s
--Call--
> /usr/share/gramps/gramps_main.py(28)?()
-> import os
[...]
(Pdb)
> /usr/share/gramps/gramps_main.py(44)?()
-> import gnome
(Pdb)
zsh: segmentation fault  pdb /usr/share/gramps/gramps_main.py

I'm not sure which package to further reassign this issue to as I can
also do:

eve:[~]% python
Python 2.3.5 (#2, Aug 30 2005, 15:50:26)
[GCC 4.0.2 20050821 (prerelease) (Debian 4.0.1-6)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import gnome
zsh: segmentation fault  python

Thanks,
Anand
