Please add -DCMAKE_INSTALL_RUNSTATEDIR=/run to the flags passed to cmake. It is similar to --runstatedir for autoconf. This flag is available since cmake 3.8. I've just pushed 3.9 into unstable. Before that 3.8 was only available in experimental so I wouldn't expect that any package uses it yet. Thanks, Felix
