1.3 did indeed help against the memory allocation bug. Thunderbird doesn't crash any more. Unfortunately, the addon seems to be incompatible with newer Firefox versions. It loads fine, but doesn't insert any passwords. Also, "View Saved Passwords" from the context menu simply does nothing.
