I switched from deb8 to deb9 on my desktop use keepass2 on deb9 and my ... kdbx file is accessed via gvfs/smb-share on a deb8 samba server. I mount my samba share in gnome with gvfs-smb and keepass2 will access the kdbx file: e.g.: /run/user/1000/gvfs/smb-share:server=debian8,share=samba/config/...kdbx keepass2 crashes sometimes unpredictable and deletes the ... kdbx file with the stored informations keepass2 should keep at least the ...kdbx file when it crashes. Maybe its not only a keepass2 problem.
