before filing bugs, I would normally check to see if they are already fixed in the VCS and look for a 'contributing' section to see if there are any requests for the mode of interaction. I can't find either within debian-handbook -- there is a separate page on the website though. A Table of Contents item called "Contributing" or similar is pretty common in Debian documentation. Perhaps this would be worth adding. As a related problem, it would also be good to include the document version number in the document so that, when reading the website, the reader (e.g. this bug reporter), knows what version number to use in the bug report. cheers Stuart
