This package has:

    Build-Depends: ..., automake1.11 | automake (>= 1:1.9), ...

which includes the obsolete automake1.11 package.

Please check whether this package can be built correctly with the
recommended automake version, as provided by the automake package
(currently version 1.15). If it can, please build-depend only on automake,
removing the automake1.11 alternative. The required automake version
is available since at least Debian 7 'wheezy' (oldoldstable).

It is possible that it is *already* built using the modern automake
and not automake1.11, since recent debhelper Depends on dh-autoreconf
which Depends on automake - I couldn't easily tell from the buildd log,
but the absence of the Perl warnings from aclocal-1.11 seen in
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=dbus-c%2B%2B&arch=amd64&ver=0.9.0-8%2Bb1&stamp=1487998367&raw=0
suggests that it might be using the modern automake.

If this package does not work with automake present and automake1.11
removed, then that is a more severe bug, possibly a release-critical
FTBFS.

If automake1.11 is removed from Debian, this bug will become serious
(release-critical), since the Debian buildd infrastructure would be
unable to satisfy this package's build-dependencies in its current state
without automake1.11 in the archive (sbuild always uses the first
option from an "a | b" group). As far as I am aware, there are no
immediate plans to remove automake1.11.

Thanks,
