Packages updated in stable are divergent; the changelog for a package in stretch should include only its history in experimental, unstable and maybe stretch if tpu has been used. We are strict about this because the BTS uses this information for calculating affected suites. Thanks, Hello Jonathan, Sorry, I should have been clearer: what we try to keep synched is not the upstream code, but the packaging code. Scripts to fetch the upstream installers and create source tarballs, to create dkms packages, package individual libraries separately, etc. Maintaining this upstream proprietary driver is quite complex, and this really helps a lot keeping things sane.
