Hi, I believe this bug can be closed, though I'm not sure why 8-)
tests.reproducible-builds.org still (more or less) builds as it build in April 2015 (IOW: it still modifies the TZ variable), yet looking at https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/history/r-base.html reveals that r-base builds fine in our setup since 3.2.2, while 3.2.1 still ftbfs. So I'd recommend closing with 3.2.2-1, but I'll leave this to you, as you might have an insight on the "why" part ;-) -- cheers, Holger
