I have not tested it recently.  Your patch seems reasonable one.

I just got sick of fixing issues with dblatex back then and nev er
looked back.  I do know dblatex has been active again recently.

You only did debuild or similar to fix hard part ... so this is missing
install support which is trivial ;-)  Hmmm... few dependency too...
