Package: bridge-utils
Version: 1.5-9
Severity: normal
Dear maintainer,
On one particular host, bridge-utils insists upon fetching an IP via the wrong
interface. It uses the MAC address of eth1 even though the connection to the
outside world comes via eth0.
My /etc/network/interfaces:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto br0
iface br0 inet dhcp
bridge_ports all
allow-hotplug eth0
iface eth0 inet manual
allow-hotplug eth1
iface eth1 inet manual
If there is a way to ensure that the brdige always connects to the outside
world via eth0, I seem to have missed it.
Can you help?
