Hi Mike,
Thanks for both replies. After the initial bugreport I did some googling about
avahi, the upshoot of which being that I already removed avahi-daemon. Early
next week I'll be able to test the dhcp connection on the 2nd network I wrote
about, and I'll let you know the results.
