Hi, Unfortunately the fix is not actually a fix, the `journal' is still spammed with messages indicating something is none too happy about the symlink. More information may also be found in this Arch bug report: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/50430
In particular, the Arch bug report refers to an upstream commit in Docker 1.12: See: https://github.com/docker/docker/commit/6889c3276c6895a8440dc8883b8cd608793199f3 It seems like this is all due to a the "unix://" protocol not being prepended to the default socket path. There are also a few 'new' commandline switches involved, however. (Judging by the diff). Please consider updating Docker packages to a newer version, preferably the current one (17.03).
