Package: blueman Version: 2.0.4-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Using xfce , blueman-browser reports: "Failed to launch default file browser - the specified location is not supported. You can entr the alternative browser in service settings" After much googling and experimentation I have not been able to find any such "service settings". Tried all the obvious things under /etc/alternatives, gconf-editor and more. Not clear what sort of browser is intended. Tried www browsers and file managers. I even tried installing nautilus after one post suggested that it was the only one that supported obex. --------------------------------- -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages blueman depends on: ii bluez 5.43-1 ii bluez-obexd 5.43-1 ii dbus 1.10.16-1 ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.26.0-2+b1 ii gir1.2-appindicator3-0.1 0.4.92-4 ii gir1.2-gdkpixbuf-2.0 2.36.4-1 ii gir1.2-glib-2.0 1.50.0-1+b1 ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.22.8-1 ii gir1.2-notify-0.7 0.7.7-1+b1 ii gir1.2-pango-1.0 1.40.3-3 ii gnome-icon-theme 3.12.0-2 ii libbluetooth3 5.43-1 ii libc6 2.24-9 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.2-2 ii libpulse-mainloop-glib0 10.0-1 ii libpython3.5 3.5.3-1 ii librsvg2-common 2.40.16-1+b1 ii notification-daemon 3.20.0-1 ii python3 3.5.3-1 ii python3-cairo 1.10.0+dfsg-5+b1 ii python3-dbus 1.2.4-1 ii python3-gi 3.22.0-2 ii python3-gi-cairo 3.22.0-2 ii xfce4-notifyd [notification-daemon] 0.3.4-1 Versions of packages blueman recommends: ii policykit-1 0.105-17 blueman suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
