Nobody responded to this thread yet? Surprised that nobody else get affected by this bug, given the prevalence of Intel graphics hardware out there?
Update: I managed to test Debian testing (Stretch RC2) with the Intel graphics. Here are the relevant versions: * kernel version 4.9 (package: linux-image-4.9.0-1-amd64, version: 4.9.6-3). * Intel DDX (package: xserver-xorg-video-intel, version: 2:2.99.917+git20161206-1) * Xserver ( xserver-xorg ver 1:7.7+18 ; xserver-xorg-core ver 2:1.19.0-3 ) * libdrm2 version 2.4.74-1 * libreoffice version 1:5.2.4-2 All packages provided by debian testing. Turns out the screen corruptions above was still there too! I was able to reproduce the "spreadsheet cell update" problem (see previous posting in the bug report). Now, that alone is an annoying problem. Given that the modesetting has its own issues, how can we get the Intel ddx problem solved?
