If I may throw in my 2¢ here - 0.26 will not have any different functionality
to 0.24. All fixes that are applied to 0.26 will be ported to 0.24 whereapplicable. I don't see the map functionality going in as we still have not
resolved the tile provider issue.
So the main difference of 0.26 will be that it's ported to GAction and have the possibility to support different authentication backends better than before,
which might be interesting for you, Jeremy.
