I tried lxpanel 0.9.3 and the battery monitor basically works.There is only a minor issue (or is it a feature?): with the AC adapter connected and the battery not fully charged the monitor shows a green battery and displays the time remaining to charge (all is OK), but
when the battery is fully charged its color changes from green to yellow Ciao Gigi
