Package: sndfile-programs
Version: 1.0.12-3
Severity: important

playing a 64 bit wave file (produced by timemachine) with sndfile-play
produces static noise on a powerpc. ardour and sweep play the file fine.
using sndfile-convert doesn't seem to help.

cheers, piem
