Package: libdbusmenu-gtk4 Version: 12.10.2-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream
Dear Maintainer, libdbusmenu sends the Gtk signal child-added to modify menus. This signal is/was Ubuntu specific and should be replaced with the insert signal. Sending child-added instead of insert makes modifying menus of an AppIndicator tray icon impossible, resulting in the following error message and potentially segfaulting. GLib-GObject-WARNING **: /build/glib2.0-m2w47E/glib2.0-2.50.2/./gobject/gsignal.c:2523: signal 'child- added' is invalid for instance '0x7f95243242c0' of type 'GtkMenu' This has been fixed upstream. Please see Ubuntu bug #1203888 for further information. Bug #727533 is maybe related. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libdbusmenu-gtk4 depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.22.0-1 ii libc6 2.24-8 ii libcairo2 1.14.8-1 ii libdbusmenu-glib4 12.10.2-1 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-6.7 ii libfreetype6 2.6.3-3+b1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.3-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.2-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.3-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.3-3 ii libpangoft2-1.0-0 1.40.3-3 ii multiarch-support 2.24-8 libdbusmenu-gtk4 recommends no packages. libdbusmenu-gtk4 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
