Further investigating this seems to be related to opengl output: - mplayer works fine here using default settings, but with "-vo gl" I encounter the same problem as with mpv. - mpv itself works fine with "--vo xv". - (VLC seems to work fine using any output module) - Chrome does not freeze with "--disable-gpu" Regards, Gerrit
