Sorry again, I did answer to quickly, because even if dash-el refuse to install itself without bringing in emacs24, it should be correctly installed for every available Emacs installed. So I did try in a clean chroot, and elpa-with-editor did install and byte compile just fine with both emacs24 and emacs25. Could you check if dash-el is correctly installed. There should be both dash.elc and dash-functional.elc in the /usr/share/emacs25/site-lisp/dash-el/ repository. Check also that the /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50dash-el.el is correct. Running "emacs25 -q", and trying "C-h f --every-p" (for example) should show you the description of the dash's --every-p function. -- Rémi Vanicat
