Do you have push access to the pkg-emacsen git repositories? If not, please submit a request to join the pkg-emacsen team on alioth. So long as you use `dch` to add changelog entries you can commit freely to the team repository. Let's both work on the same copy of the code. > However, I am struggling with with the installation of the package; I > though that it would be automatically handled by dh_elpa, but > unfortunately that is not the case (generating the > /usr/share/emacs*/site-lisp symbolic link, the configuration of the > snippets directory, etc). > > I don't want to hinder your progress, so don't hold yourselves if you > think it is easier done than told! dh_elpa definitely installs the package and creates the symbolic links. The only issue is the startup file, 50yasnippet.el. I'm talking to the original author of dh_elpa about that (join us in #debian-emacs if you can). What do you think about merging yasnippet-snippets into elpa-yasnippet? I'm wondering whether we should have a separate package, yasnippet-doc, containing the HTML documentation.
