@local_domains_maps $max_servers (and possibly) $mynetworks $recipient_delimiter are not included in the config files. There is also no mention of the four $*_quarantine_to settings. My impression is new users are pretty much left to fend for themselves. It is very common to add additional domains to @local_domains_maps but new users will be left in the dark as to the need of this setting. It is also common to change $max_servers to match the power of the host machine. It would also be nice to mention (maybe in 50-user) that spam and virus checking is disabled by default, and offer instructions on how this can be fixed. Possibly a README file in /etc/amavis/ would be a convenient way to shed some light on how things are set up overall.
