Package: gnome-color-manager Version: 3.22.2 Since some updates on Debian/sid the brightness is not properly reset on resume after suspend or at boot time.
That is, the brightness is always reset to its maximum value. Am fully up-to-date on Debian/sid. Note that this can easily be reproduced by opening the gnome-color- manager and disabling/enabling the screen profile. Each time the profile is activated the brightness is reset to max.
