I find the behaviour of Gnome on suspending then unsuspending in Debian Jessie unpredictable. Any of the following may happen on reboot: - open windows all migrate to a single desktop - all bar a few windows disappear; those left are mostly off-screen to the right - (on fresh boot as well) top RH menu options after Battery and Bluetooth may or may not appear (eg network / VPN). If VPN does appear, it has a random subset of possible connections shown - screen is blank until I press CTRL-F8 (on my Dell laptop this is the key combo to switch from external monitor to internal) I don't have system logs as (until just now) journalctl was not using persistent storage for logs. It should be now. I appreciate this is a rather vague report - the problem is that this is an intermittent and inconsistent problem to reproduce - different every time.
