Dear Rémi, This is a simple omission. I am preparing a release 2.2.4 for inclusion in Debian stretch; the fix for this was in the mainstream. (2.2.4 has new dependencies that need to be packaged for Debian before its release).
2.2-2 was a quick interim release to remove ipython-qtconsole for a transition, and did not include other changes. A fix for the license issue will be uploaded shortly.
