Package: xosd-bin
Version: 2.2.14-2.1
Severity: normal
Control: affects -1 xserver-xorg
I have a command i sometimes run which pipes its stdout into osd_cat.
since recent upgrades to switch over to X.org's builtin modesetting
driver, the display of things through osd_cat has become very slow --
the use of osd_cat causes severe delays in the refresh of other
windows, for example.
My machine's graphical hardware is:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core
Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
let me know if i can provide more detailed debugging info.
