Package: amanda-server
Version: 1:3.3.9-1
Severity: important

Last night the regular backup failed. It turned out that the cause was
that /usr/lib/amanda/taper died with a segment violation error. This has
not happened before, but now it is reproducible. The change that
happened yesterday was the upgrade from perl 5.22 to 5.24. As taper is a
perl script I suspect that this is linked. In fact, now, after a
downgrade to the perl 5.22 packages the taper program acts normal again.
(This downgrade is also the reason for the debsum error below)

It seems that the amanda-server package does not depend on perl, and
therefore it was not rebuilt after the recent perl upgrade.
