Hi Frank, I fear that there will be no newer package for Qupzilla in Debian until: - either Qupzilla gives up its dependency on QtWebEngine - or somebody steps forward and decides to cope with the burden of maintaining QtWebengine inside Debian - or somebody patches Qupzilla in order to use QtWebKit instead of QtWebEngine. I shall not try to maintain such a patch against new versions of Qupzilla.
Here is an excerpt of a build attempt:
debian/rules override_dh_auto_configure
make[1]: Entering directory '/build/qupzilla-2.0.1~dfsg1'
qmake -qt5 # enforce Qt5 build
Project ERROR: QupZilla requires at least QtWebEngine 5.6!
