The dircolors command from coreutils knows the st terminal, but not the stterm terminal. In coreutils-8.25/src/dircolors.hin:37 we have: TERM st TERM st-256color but no stterm. I would suggest not changing the terminal name, thus dropping these two patches: 20-st.info.patch 30-config.def.h.patch I can't guess why it has been renamed in the first place, but if the reason doesn't apply anymore I think it would be a good idea not to rename it at all and provide a bin/stterm -> bin/st symlink for compatibility.
