Dear Maintainer,
Got the following when trying to run subtitleeditor in mate desktop.
This is on testing.

It takes lot of memory and sort of hangs the system. I had to use
CTRL+ALT+Fn to get to another console terminal interface to kill the
app. and get control of the desktop.
