Package: dosbox
Version: 0.74-4.2+b1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

when using dosbox with Wayland the mouse/cursor starts to jump across the
(virtual) screen when doing larger movements with the mouse.
This happens very frequently when trying to play "The Settlers" (1994/1995),
but I guess the problem is not specific to this game.
The problem appears in window mode as well as in fullscreen mode and changing
the "autolock" or "sensitivity" setting had no effect on the problem.

When using good old X11, the problem disappears and the mouse moves smoothly in
dosbox.

Here's the sdl part of my configuration file:

[sdl]
fullscreen=false
fulldouble=false
fullresolution=1920x1080
aspect=true
windowresolution=original
output=opengl
autolock=false
sensitivity=50
waitonerror=true
priority=higher,normal
mapperfile=mapper-0.74.map
usescancodes=true

Best,

Andreas
