Please do not close bugs with the Debian changelog when the changes do
not fix the bug. Instead, close them via a mail to -done or -close
with an explanation of the reasonning behind the closure (not a bug,
obsolete etc.).
This bug doesn't seem fixed either, I can understand you think that
expect should not work around such problems, and hence I'm tagging the
bug wontfix instead.
