Package: libnih1 Version: 1.0.3-5+b1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I recently performed a dist-upgrade on my sid system and discovered that libnih1 became uninstalled because it requires a libc6 version that is << 2.24. However, libc6 is now apparently version 2.24-1 which conflicts with libnih1. This became a problem for me because the lxc package recommends the cgmanager package which then depends on libnih1. lxc then gets uninstalled after performing the dist-upgrade. I have force-installed libnih1 on my system despite the supposed conflict and have not noticed lxc having any errors or failing to work. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.7.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/20 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libnih1 depends on: ii libc6 2.24-1 libnih1 recommends no packages. libnih1 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
