CVE-2006-0236 is a GUI issue in thunderbird that allows an attachment with a specially constructed filename to be misdisplayed in a way that makes it look like it has a different extention than it really does. In windows this can result in code execution, it's not clear if that works in linux. Here's the upstream bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300246 -- see shy jo
