Hi Matteo!

I'm glad to get a response on my report. On my side nothing has changed
(sorry). I have been trying to have just a look at blender, and since i
spent quite a while to do so, with no success, i finally didn't bother
anymore. Did you try to reproduce the issue with my configuration?

I tested on a standard wheezy machine and I didn't encounter the issue
you faced.

It seems strange that this should be a singular behavior (all the more since
blender had been freshly installed, in the standard configuration, without
any special action). I know that it is no recent version of OS/blender,
however, given that it is a bug, which has not been recognized yet, then
there are chances that it is still existent in current versions, maybe
latently. (How are you thinking about it?)

Weird that nobody else using the same version reported that problem.
So probably it's really a singular behaviour on your system.
Have you tried to test the same configuration on a different machine?
Maybe it has something to deal with the graphics of the failing
machine.

I agree it's weird. Unfortunately i had no opportunity to test this configuration on another machine. Maybe there will be some coming up, but i won't promise, since it's not sure.

So, i won't close the issue. Of course, if some responsible thinks that
nothing could be done about it, they ought to take the suitable measures.

OK, I'll try to dig a little deeper in this issue. Stay tuned!

I'll do so, thanks.

Cheers.
