this bug makes the default latexila-3.14.0-1 package from jessie unusable for me.
I do not see how that would render it unusable, are you unable to edit LaTeX files or to compile them?
I solved it by uninstalling this package version from apt, and by building the sources from the 3.14.1 version I got on the developper site,
Okay, I guess something was wrong. Did you have any chance to try with the latest version of LaTeXila in Debian?
