The problem is : mount with -o guest can fail to Samba servers when patched for badlock. I found the patch also in the upstream 4.7 kernel https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=5a4f7e8e7ff5e81f57b08797cca41d307878dfc7 but this is a 2.08 to 2.09 commit. Debian Jessie has cifs.ko 2.03, and samba recommends also at least 2.04 for best performance. https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/LinuxCIFSKernel kernel 4.7 : Cifs.ko version updated to 2.09.
