Package: texlive-bibtex-extra Version: 2014.20141024-1 Severity: important I just discovered that I still have the biblatex and biblatex-dw packages from wheezy installed.
The files are in different locations, so it didn't break in the usual obvious way when having both installed. The proper solution would have been to provide transitional packages for them in jessie, but for stretch texlive-bibtex-extra should at least conflict with them to prevent having two different versions installed in parallel.
