I'm fine with your string :) If I were to work on a long-term solution for that, I would first try to design a dedicated page on the OTR website for this scenario (instead of pointing to the homepage), with some OS detection based on the user-agent and listing different installation options based on the popularity of the messaging apps for each OS.
