Package: pidgin-plugin-pack Version: 2.7.0-2 Severity: normal Hello,
it seems like the pidgin plugin 'IRC More' causes channel quit/leave to behave weird. First, leaving a channel is delayed with the plugin enabled. When I close the channel tab in pidgin, it takes up to two minutes until the channel receives a 'mejo has left' message. This is clearly not the case without the IRC More plugin. Second, this can lead to weird quit messages, when I rejoin the channel within the delay. See the following leave message that was caused by leaving and rejoining channel #quit_test on irc.oftc.net as nick 'mejo' with pidgin: 13:03 -!- mejo [~mejo@****] has left #quit_test [JOIN #quit_test ] Cheers, jonas -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.6.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages pidgin-plugin-pack depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.20.0-1 ii libc6 2.23-4 ii libcairo2 1.14.6-1+b1 ii libenchant1c2a 1.6.0-11+b1 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-6.4 ii libfreetype6 2.6.3-3+b1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.34.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.48.1-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.30-4 ii libgtkspell0 2.0.16-1.1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.40.1-1 ii libpurple0 2.11.0-1 pidgin-plugin-pack recommends no packages. pidgin-plugin-pack suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
