Package: syncthing Version: 0.14.0+dfsg1-1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
It would be a nice touch to be able to find syncthing in the applications menu of desktop environments. Especially in order to set up automatic startup on login without too many hacks. One slightly kludgy possibility would be to include two .desktop files: syncthing.desktop: [Desktop Entry] Name=Syncthing GenericName=Syncthing Comment= Exec=/usr/bin/syncthing Terminal=false Type=Application X-Gnome-Autostart=true syncthing-ui.desktop: [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Name=Syncthing UI Type=Link URL=http://localhost:8384 Icon=www But maybe it's possible to merge them into one and start both the backend and the browser simultaneously? (since syncthing will refuse to start if another instance is running anyway) Thanks for considering!
