Package: git-buildpackage
Version: 0.8.1
Severity: normal

gbp import-orig would currently always merge into the current working
copy instead of switching to the Debian branch first. This defeats
proper rollback makes giving the branch to merge to impossible.

This does not affect --merge-mode=replace
