Package: systemd-coredump Version: 230-7 Severity: wishlist
LZ4 compression makes a huge difference in terms of performance impact when compressing core files, but it's currently not enabled (I guess due to missing LZ4 dependency?). LZ4 is the default compression method according to upstream since systemd 229. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable'), (800, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.6.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages systemd-coredump depends on: ii adduser 3.115 ii libacl1 2.2.52-3 ii libc6 2.23-2 ii libdw1 0.165-3 ii libelf1 0.165-3 ii systemd 230-7 systemd-coredump recommends no packages. systemd-coredump suggests no packages.
