I don't know too much about doing coverage computations in Python, but this looks wrong twice (i.e. for both packages): Unpacking python-rows (0.2.0-1) over (0.1.1-3) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/python-rows_0.2.0-1_all.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/.coverage', which is also in package python-jwt 1.4.0-1 IMHO lintian should throw an "Error" level warning if a file matching /usr/lib/python*/dist-packages/.coverage exists in a binary package. But maybe the list of avoided file names should be even larger. Someone fit in python ooverage should probably look at this.
