Hi Markus, the command line interfaces of xdelta and xdelta3 are not compatible, so this doesn't actually fix anything. That said, there is a modest plan to switch the delta creation from xdelta to xdelta3 altogether. See https://bugs.debian.org/808813 where the discussion will take place.
